Application in the First Domestic Bio-safety 7-axis Cobot
At the 2020 Analytica Shanghai in Munich, MG released the first domestic 7-axis collaborative robot for biosafety, MRS-03. This robot is based on Mega motion control and eRob robot joints. It is specially designed for sensitive environments, such as sterile and dust-free ones. It is applicable to scenarios such as hospitals, laboratories, testing rooms, clean workshops, etc., where strict environmental protection standards are required.
The robot joint in the robotic arm
Due to the small size of the eRob series robot joint module and the advantage of 18MM large and medium-sized holes, the MRS-03 adopts a compact and lightweight design. All the end cables are routed internally, avoiding the hygiene and safety issues caused by external wiring. Suitable for working in isolators and biosafety cabinets. For the battery of the encoder, the core component of the robot, an external battery compartment is specially set up to facilitate maintenance and reduce hygiene issues caused by daily operations.
MRS-03 is resistant to VHP sterilization, and food-grade lubricants are used for the joints. The surface is designed to be smooth without dead corners, which can effectively reduce the adhesion of residual liquids. The surface of the entire machine is designed without screws, making it easier to clean and avoiding hygiene dead corners. The performance indicators of a maximum working radius of 1000mm, a rated load of 3kg, and a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05mm can meet the application requirements of most life science industries. MRS-03 fills the gap in the domestic biosafety robot market, laying a solid foundation for Meijia to better serve customers in the life science industry and promote the automation and intelligence process of the life science industry.
